Damian Monaghan
Art Director
Damian is responsible for strategic creative development, design development, illustration, graphic design and typesetting. Damian is an immensely energetic, enthusiastic and passionate artist with the rare ability to merge creative skills with a strategic business brain. Damian has achieved national and international design awards during his career to date. Damian’s expertise is in brand development, publication and exhibition design. Giraffe VCM can also offer customised Adobe training for client’s whose staff are learning to use the design software. Our Art Director, Damian Monaghan has been a graphic design tutor at the University of Canberra and has conducted Indesign training on site for the Department of Finance and Deregulation and Sydney based advertising agency EURO RSVG. |
Steve Hugler
Studio Manager
Steve is responsible for project management, quoting, production and administration. Steve has extensive experience in sales and promotions, previously working at Tomasetti Paperhouse, Paperpoint (Melbourne) and CanPrint Communications. Prior to joining Giraffe as a director, Steve spent over 3 years as Studio and Production Manager at MA@D Communication. Steve project manages every job at Giraffe. His experience working with paper, printing and design gives him the ability to see each job from all angles. He can confidently advise on all areas of production to ensure the best possible outcome for your project. Steve is also an annual presenter at the Spicers Paper School, which informes designers and printers on how different paper stocks can impact a printed job. |
Paul Skrzeczek
Web Designer
Paul joined the team in February 2010. He graduated from University of Canberra in 2006 with a Bachelor of Graphic Design. Prior to joining Giraffe, Paul worked as the marketing and design assistant at Pepe Investments PTD for a period of 8 months. During that time Paul took on a range of new projects as well as maintenance and support activities. He played a key role in the design, development and implementation of the new website. He also assisted in the design of customised products including gift cards and wrapping paper. After leaving Pepe Investments PTD in 2007, he went to work at Agileware. His role consisted of design, development and implementation of client websites. Paul undertook a range of projects covering a number of industries. Some examples of clients that Paul worked with are Australian Centre for International Agriculture Research, Australian Medical Association, Kamberra Wine Company, Windlab Systems and Pepe's Paperie. The projects required research into the clients business and putting forward draft designs for comment and feedback. |
