Over the past few months we have been working with the Jigsaw Theatre Company to re-establish them a fresh new look. We created a simple black brand with the addition of a coloured strip to strengthen the brand recognition on marketing material. Applied to stationery, banners and the new website www.jigsawtheatre.com.au the look and feel is right on the money with their target audience.
Giraffe has been working closely with the Department of Broadband, Communications and Digital Economy for more than 12 months on the design and web development of the Australian Government's new EasyGuide to Socialising Online which was launched by Prime Minister Julia Gillard today.

Between July and November, most Canberra designers are faced with the challenge of working on government Annual Reports, and adhering to guidelines that can make the finished product less appealing than it could have been (in a design sense anyway). Can anyone tell me why we can't bleed on the internal pages? ... Yes thats one of the frustrating rules in the guidelines ... we all know its not a cost factor!

We've been working with a referral client on a new food venture including branding, web design and signage in the city. The Fish Shack are cooking fresh seafood takaway you'd expect to get at the coast, only better ... These boys know how to cook seafood!. Located in Petrie Plaza off Bunda Street and NOW OPEN, Brendon (seen left in the first photo) and his crew are working their butts off to provide great fresh seafood! there's even vegetatrian options on the specials board ... so check it out, you won't be disappointed!
Remember the old MACs? Well we found one straight out of 1991! This Classic as it was aptly named was cutting edge with its 16 MHz CPU, 9" b&w screen, 40 MB hard drive and double sided floppy drive reader. It now takes pride of place in our reception area and if you have time come and try the flight simulator game that is loaded on it ... what a classic!

Giraffe and eWater Limited have been working together over the last three months to create a new look for their magazine H20 Thinking and develop a new digital version. H2O Thinking is a water management magazine covering useful information on research, environmental and water issues, as well as eWater activities.

Ergogym, Canberra's specialist centre for the rehabilitate clients who have been injured at work, recently came to us seeking a website revamp to enable them to make their own updates. Giraffe redesigned and developed a new site using the Drupal CMS. Ergogym can now keep their clients up-to-date with more relevant and targetted content.
