We've just come up with a business name and brand for a local milliner as part of our small business package. Whilst Biretta's and Busby's are not the best looking hats in the world, the name has a nice ring to it!

Giraffe and Some Cowboy were winners in Category 3: Excellence in Offset Collateral, at the 2013 PAGE Awards for the Canberra Theatre Centre Season Program.
Giraffe are once again a finalist in the Printing and Graphic Excellence Awards. The awards night is held on the 23rd November, so we'll post our further success once we know.
Man its been busy here at Giraffe. Over the past five months we've pumped out some very exciting work, below are some snapshots of this work.
Canberre Theatre Centre's 2013 Season materials
The cover featured gloss black and matt gold foils, adding a special touch to the program.
Josh from JSA Carpentry and Construction contacted us after doing a google search to get a new business brand. So far we've completed the logo, business cards and shirts ... with the website and vehicle signage to be produced over the coming months.
We've just completed some retail branding for a home entertainment store in Albury NSW. Produced in a week, it was super urgent! We proposed 2 options (as seen below) ... they leant towards the simpler of the two with a slight tweak to colour, as seen used in the in-store poster.
Over the past few months we have been working with the Jigsaw Theatre Company to re-establish them a fresh new look. We created a simple black brand with the addition of a coloured strip to strengthen the brand recognition on marketing material. Applied to stationery, banners and the new website www.jigsawtheatre.com.au the look and feel is right on the money with their target audience.
Giraffe has been working closely with the Department of Broadband, Communications and Digital Economy for more than 12 months on the design and web development of the Australian Government's new EasyGuide to Socialising Online which was launched by Prime Minister Julia Gillard today.
Some Cowboy AKA George Mackintosh and Giraffe have just completed the branding for the Canberra Theatre Centre's 2012 Season, including Concept, Photography, Invite, Posters, Bookmark, Program, LED display movie, and Mini-website (which is an understatement). We've been working with a referral client on a new food venture including branding, web design and signage in the city. The Fish Shack are cooking fresh seafood takaway you'd expect to get at the coast, only better ... These boys know how to cook seafood!. Located in Petrie Plaza off Bunda Street and NOW OPEN, Brendon (seen left in the first photo) and his crew are working their butts off to provide great fresh seafood! there's even vegetatrian options on the specials board ...
Remember the old MACs? Well we found one straight out of 1991! This Classic as it was aptly named was cutting edge with its 16 MHz CPU, 9" b&w screen, 40 MB hard drive and double sided floppy drive reader. It now takes pride of place in our reception area and if you have time come and try the flight simulator game that is loaded on it ... what a classic!
We just finished producing a few badges for the Museum of Australian Democracy.
